The Beggar's Ride App Reviews

Terrific, and a little annoying

The game is gorgeous, and the gameplay is spot on. But as others have said, between the controls (moving and jumping), and the steep difficulty curve, it often gets turned off for something a little less frustrating. Maybe thats me, wanting easy street, but maybe, per the other commenters, its not just me.

Want to give this game 5 stars, but...

But I just cant. The problem is that a lot of the later puzzles require quick, cat-like reflexes that I dont have...and that the main character, an elderly beggar, also shouldnt have. Whenever I encounter the "reflex" puzzles of this game I seriously consider just deleting it and playing something else. It says a lot fr the rest of game that I havent yet. The other puzzles are first rate, and I really like the music and graphics. The virtual stick control seems to work better than the touch controls; Im glad theres a choice there. I know from other reviews both have their problems. The "godlike" powers you get with each mask was RK as advertised. But I suggest if youre not into the twitch part of puzzle platform, maybe waiting for a later version until the control problems are addressed.

So far its good

Ive barely started and have not run into any issues. Its making me think pretty hard, which is a good thing.

Worth paying for

Simple to play graphics are very good. Amusing story line. Worth the money.

Not bad

Deleted it before before beating the final boss though because it was getting too repetetive

Crashes on iOS 9.2 ipad2

Just bought this. Bummed out it crashes every time on startup. Waste of money.
